• 99 students qualified for the National ISTD Championships in 2010! We have one more competition before we can publish our qualifier numbers for 2011...will we beat that?

• We had record results in our Disco/Freestyle, Rock'n'Roll and Latin exams this year and some wonderful comments from the examiners. Well done to all students and a particular congratulations to Melissa Park who attained 100% in two of her dances for her Supreme Award. Absolutely incredible.

• Congratulations to Anthony Duncan and Isabella Sadler who were picked from hundreds of youngsters to appear in the West End production of The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium. They begin performances in September. Well done also to Eleanor Howard who was recalled and Olivia Young who got down to the final stages with Arlene Philips.

• Moonglow has introduced brand new classes for 2011, including West Coast Swing, Argentine Tango, Beginner Ballroom and Latin, Zumba and Salsa! Details are now on the website.

• Look out for our new Saturday Social Nights and Party Nights! Social Nights every Saturday (apart from the first Saturday of the month which are Ceroc Nights) - for more details see the timetables page. Further news on Party Nights will be published here so watch this space!

• Look out for our popular DanceFit! classes. Every Monday, DanceFit! fills the niche in the market for classes that are dance-based and fun without being too technically difficult. In other words, DanceFit! is an opportunity to stay fit and motivated without even realising it while enjoying dance and up-to-date music in a familiar and supportive environment. Warm ups and routines in various styles including street, hip hop, jazz, disco, etc. Danced to all kinds of music from 70s funk up to today’s chart hits. Sessions on Mondays 8 - 9pm. The classes are in demand and, as they take place in Studio 2, have limited spaces so if you are interested in coming along, please contact us by emailing info@moonglow.biz or calling Irene on 07876 713555 for further details and to book your place. We would love to see you there!

• Our range of Moonglow tracksuits is proving extremely popular! Thanks to all those who have helped towards making our trackies possible; the MG range includes hoodies, zip up hoodies, tracksuit bottoms, and (eventually) leggings and vest tops - and can be personalised with names or nicknames if you wish. If you are interested in ordering one please email us through the site or see Julie Dillon on a Saturday morning. Orders are delivered around three times a year.
